Annual Leave Purchase is simply a way of buying more annual leave.
Imagine being able to take extra time off work for long weekends away, more time off with the children or even a much dreamed of long haul trip that your current allowance wouldn’t enable you to take.
You will need to plan ahead when making your choices as once you submit your application and buy the additional leave days you can’t amend or sell them back even if you have a Lifestyle change your choices will apply till the start of the following holiday year.
Normal departmental holiday booking procedures will apply but your Line Manager will do their best to accommodate your request.
Employees that are under the cascade payroll will be eligible to apply for the Annual leave purchase scheme. For those that are under the flex benefits portal, please continue to apply for additional annual leave via your usual route.
Please ensure you check your holiday allocation is correct, and include any carry over days, as part of your annual entitlement.
NOTE: When filling in the boxes to complete your application it’s important to make sure that you check your payslip on cascade for your gross pay per frequency excluding any bonuses, overtime as per your normal pay period prior any tax or NI deductions.
The days you insert in your holiday entitlement ensure this includes any carry over days from the previous calendar year.
